How We Work

In order to effectively make changes in our community, we follow an annual 4-step process:

1. Trained leaders hold small group meetings to listen to and identify common community problems experienced by families and neighbors.

2. Trained leaders meet with local experts and decision-makers to better understand the problems and identify long-term solutions.

3. We organize an annual event called the Nehemiah Action with over 1,000 members to hold decision-makers accountable to implement the identified long-term systemic solutions.

4. We then monitor those commitments.
